Frequently Asked Questions
About the Coaching
Beldon Coaching is a one-person independent practice operated by me, Swagat Tharu. I deliver every session and produce every written deliverable personally. There is no team, no associates, and no sub-contracted coaching.
My clients are typically mid-career managers — most often team leads, senior managers, and heads of department — who are preparing to step into more senior roles within the next 12-36 months. I don't work with first-line managers, executive C-suite, or entry-level professionals.
No. Beldon Coaching is leadership and career development coaching. I do not provide therapy, counselling, or mental health treatment. If during our engagement something comes up that would benefit from therapeutic support, I will signpost you to appropriate professionals.
All sessions are delivered via secure video call. This allows me to work with clients across the UK and maintain the small, focused practice I've built.
About the Programmes
If you're unsure, start with the Leadership Snapshot (£99). It's a single session designed to give you a clear view of where you stand and an honest recommendation of whether a longer programme would serve you, and if so which one.
Yes. If you've booked a shorter programme and want to continue into a longer one, I apply the full value of your previous payment as credit toward the new programme, provided the upgrade is requested within 30 days of the previous programme completion.
Yes, completely. Every framework, scorecard, playbook, and development plan produced during your programme is your property. They are personalised to you and designed to be referenced for the rest of your career.
About Payment
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. You can pay by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or BACS Direct Debit.
Yes. BACS payments are protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee operated by Pay.UK. Your bank can provide a full refund at any time if any error occurs. Your bank details are handled directly by Stripe and never stored on my systems. Full terms on the BACS Direct Debit Terms page.
No. Every programme is a one-time payment for a complete, finite engagement. There are no subscriptions, no monthly retainers, no automatic renewals. When the programme is finished, billing stops completely.
About the Process
After booking, I send a scheduling link and we agree session times that fit your calendar. For longer programmes, we schedule the full series at once so you have certainty across the programme duration.
Full details are on the Refund Policy page. In summary: full refund within 48 hours if no sessions have been delivered. Once sessions have begun, refunds are calculated proportionally. Programme pauses of up to 30 days can be accommodated once per programme at no cost.
