Beldon Coaching is an independent leadership coaching practice operated as a UK sole trader by Swagat Tharu. The practice does not provide regulated financial services, regulated legal services, or regulated medical services, and is not itself authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority. The following statement sets out the regulatory frameworks that apply to my practice and to the third-party providers I rely on.
All card and BACS Direct Debit payments are processed by Stripe Payments UK Ltd, which is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority under the Electronic Money Regulations 2011 (FRN 900461). Stripe is responsible for the security and processing of payment data; I do not store or have access to your card or bank account details.
Payments collected on behalf of Beldon Coaching are subject to the Payment Services Regulations 2017, which provide consumer protections including dispute resolution, refund rights, and security requirements.
The practice processes personal data in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018. Full details are set out in the Privacy Policy.
Coaching services are provided in compliance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which requires services to be performed with reasonable care and skill, within a reasonable time, and at a reasonable price where the price is not specified. All Beldon Coaching programmes have specified prices.
As a distance-selling business, Beldon Coaching complies with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, including the provision of pre-contractual information and statutory cancellation rights.
As an accredited member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC), I operate under the EMCC Global Code of Ethics, which sets standards for confidentiality, professional conduct, scope of practice, and continuing professional development.
Beldon Coaching is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office as a data controller. Registration reference is available on request.
The practice is registered for self-assessment with HMRC and operates within the standard tax obligations applicable to UK sole traders.
Beldon Coaching maintains professional indemnity insurance appropriate to a sole-trader executive coaching practice.
